Neurotypical refers to individuals whose neurological development and cognitive functioning align with what is considered typical within the general population.

Neurotypical people generally process information, communicate, learn, and interact socially in ways that match societal expectations and norms. They obviously can have the strengths neurodivergent individuals have.

Remember, someone else’s strength is not your weakness.

Neurotypical can come across as pejorative, so is sometimes called the predominant neurotype.
