You are brilliant at something, do you know what?

I passionately believe everyone is brilliant at something, they just haven't had the opportunity to find out what.

Some lucky souls have found the thing they are brilliant at and are having fulfilling careers. The majority sadly are doing things just to pay the mortgage.

The greatest leaders are the ones that truly listen to the people they lead. They understand their needs, their strengths and their weaknesses and they show people what they are brilliant at or could be brilliant at.  They show them what they can't see themselves.

Individuals rarely see what they are great at, for one they don't listen.

Luck does not exist, luck is simply the ability to see opportunities when they come your way.  That requires the ability to listen to things that are different and challenging.

You need to manufacture luck through listening and through being open find the thing you are brilliant at. The thing that without truly listening you would have dismissed.
